What to Expect on Your First Delivery
On your first delivery, the Tropigas driver arrives at your property, verifies the tank location and size, connects the delivery hose to your fill valve, and fills your tank to 90 percent capacity, which is the standard fill level in Puerto Rico. In summer months, depending on your municipality, the fill may be reduced to 80 to 85 percent to account for thermal expansion. After the fill, the driver performs a leak check, disconnects the hose, and provides a delivery receipt showing the gallons delivered.
